How long does the printing take?

Our normal turnaround time is 3-5 Working Days from the point of payment, not from the point of sending us the artwork. If you would like a quicker service, we offer an Express Service that will mean your prints are produced and delivered to you within 1-2 Working Days. This includes expedited production and delivery to one UK Mainland address. To find out more, just get in touch.

What is the biggest Giclee print size?

Our widest rolls are 60 inches, and 1524mm wide. We allow a minimum of 10mm on each side for trimming so 59 inches 1494mm is a comfortable maximum. Taking this at the shortest dimension we can print 60 inches by any length.

What Giclee printers do you use?

We use a fleet of profiled Canon imagePROGRAF Pro printers. The latest model, the Canon imagePROGRAF Pro 6100, is a 12-colour 60″ fine art and photographic printer with some of the latest advancements in print. All our printers are correctly profiled to all media that we print, giving you perfect reproduction every time. 

 

Can you print RGB files?

We can print RGB files and our RIP software is written to prioritise using pure Red Green and Blue from the ink sets to give maximum colour available. This gives great bright colours and amazing results for oranges bright greens, purple and electric blues.

How many colours are used to print?

Our printers use a 11 colour system.
Black, Matt black, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Photo cyan, Photo magenta, Grey, Photo grey, Red, Green, Blue

What resolution file do I need?

The best resolution for giclee printing is 300 ppi(Pixels Per Inch). This resolution ensures that the print will have a high level of detail and sharpness, and will closely resemble the original artwork. We can print lower resolution files and we can upscale, just get in contact with us to discuss your options.
